Geography CLC
This course combination will give students the opportunity to see the characteristics of physical geography in their own backyard while gaining experience related to various occupations and post secondary programs that take our local and global geography into account. It will allow for the discovery that geography is plate tectonics, rivers and oceans, sustainability, culture, city planning, globalization, climatology and much more. By learning about how we can help the planet recover from generations of misuse through innovation, city planning, and/or behavioural change and by spending time outside on various field trips, students can build their connection to the planet and investigate how that can be channeled into a career.
